Today, it started raining unexpectedly. My daughter and I didn't have an umbrella, so my daughter raised one of my big flabby arms and put it over her head to protect her from the rain. It worked. FML

Today, someone stole my umbrella. It was pouring heavily, and I was using it at the time. FML
Today, hoping to avoid the rain because I had just gotten an expensive perm, I ducked under an awning. At that moment, the store manager shook the awning, and about 6 hours of rain dumped on my head. FML
Today, I was hurrying for the bus home from work. It was raining and I had my umbrella up. As I hurried by two women, I felt my umbrella hit one of them on the head. I turned to apologise and saw her standing with her hands on her newly bald head. My umbrella had lifted her wig off her head. FML
Today, I was walking to work when it was starting to pour down sideways. I was pretty early anyway, so, I decided to duck into a bus shelter and let it pass. Suddenly, a big truck comes and drenched me with the biggest puddle. Soaking from head to toe. FML
Today, my family went to a football game. It was a little cold, but then it started to rain. I wasn't dressed for rain and I'd left my umbrella in the car. My dad wouldn't let us leave our seats for the whole game. FML
Today, I was walking through town with my hood up and noticed people giving me funny looks. It wasn't until I got home that I realised the umbrella I was holding over my head had been closed the whole time. FML
Today, getting off a bus, it was pouring rain so I got my umbrella out. A man elbowed me in the gut and grabbed it. When I told my mom about it she said, "That's New York, get over it." FML
Today, I went for a walk. When it started pouring, I ran under the nearest tree for protection. It didn't occur to me that it might look suspicious hiding under a stranger's tree in a black hoodie, until the cops showed up. FML
Today, I walked twenty minutes in rain, winds that almost knocked me over, and face-fulls of stinging hailstones. Less than a minute after I finally got inside, the weather cleared up, the sun came out, and a rainbow appeared. FML
Today, I looked outside with a grimace at the very heavy rainfall through which I had to trudge a long way. I waited ten minutes for it to let up, only to find it was getting heavier. So, I started walking anyway. After getting soaked to the bone, I walked through my door, and it stopped. FML

Kids do silly things. I put my own arm above my head when it rains and it does a decent job, and I'm no where near fat (5'3" and 110lbs) And kids are a lot smaller, so even if you're a little bit big, it doesnt mean much of anything. Eat better or excercise more. Or both. Both is the best plan.

WOW everone here is retarded. the stupid and smartness of fat people argument is dumb. they are stupid if the person just sits around and eats all day and that is why they are fat. they are smart because they realize that after this life they will have nothing left they will just be gone so they don't waste their one and only life thinking about their image. if they have more fun then they are actually much smarter than any other person.

Literally. My mom had hormone issues (thyroid) and died from them and she got big because of them and I'm bigger because of numerous hormone problems. It can't always be helped, at least not as easily as the average person.

Good for you for not freaking out about it. It would seem to me that you are comfportable with yourself! I am 5'6" and 147 and my 9 year old daughter thinks I'm fat...All a matter of opinion.
