Today, the guy I liked for years asked me out. I instantly said yes. As I was walking away, I forgot I was at the top of the stairs and fell down 20 steps. He stood at the top and laughed. FML

Today, I was at the beach with a group of friends, including the guy I like. As soon as we got to the beach, I ran toward the water and he chased after me. It was a beautiful moment until I looked back at him, tripped, fell on my face and slid down the beach. FML

Today, I tripped while walking down a large flight of stairs. As I fell forward, I instinctively reached out and grabbed onto one of the guys walking up. I ended up taking him and two other people down with me, earning myself a great many disgusted glares as I dusted myself off. FML

Today, I was walking up some stairs, and I told the guy in front of me to be careful, as the handrail was loose and well-worn. I then put my hand on it, and promptly fell backwards down the stairs with a piece of handrail still in my hand. FML

I hate when people say stuff like that...like "why are you complaining about breaking your arm when there's soldiers in iraq risking their lives" or "there's still not a cure for cancer" okay we know that and we acknowledge it, but there's other things to talk about besides that..it would be a depressing world if that's all we should focus on. It is indeed an fml if you find out you have 6 months to live, but not all have to be so sad or dramatic. Any fml can just be something that ruined your day.
