Today, my sister brought me coffee to my office. It was really nice so I made a status about it on Facebook. My boyfriend texted me soon after, freaking out because I never put anything on Facebook about him and how great he is. I'm basically dating a 14-year-old girl. FML

Just make a few statuses about him and he'll get over it.

Does HE post about how great his girl is, too?

I think some of these comments are a bit harsh. Maybe you take him a bit forgranted though but notice more when others do nice things. He just needs to feel appreciated :) Don't worry

It's just FB who cares...I'd be checking his man card

Well if he does nice things for you, you should most defiantly appreciate him for it... Especially if all it takes is a FB update.

Why a Facebook status? Why not just a "thank you"?

No, he's basically saying you don't show him any affection and don't give him enough credit and attention. He's putting up with an insensitive and selfish girlfriend.

Wait till you post this. It ought to do wonders for those self esteem issues he's harbouring. You could always tell him you are trying to use positive reinforcement to get her to do that sort of thing more often.

You must be kidding me. That's hilariously petty. Tell him to just let it lie, that's way too stupid a topic to argue about, and you don't want things to get to that point.

Maybe take a look at the relationship. Perhaps there are other reasons for him to be insecure, and he just had a moment of bitchiness about it.
