Today, my new iPhone was stolen from my school locker. After canceling my service, sobbing, having my mom yell at the secretary for their lack of security and finally agreeing to change to a private school, I found it in the corner of my locker. FML

wow....all that over a phone? really? all this trouble could have been saved by checking thoroughly or better yet, dont leave your valuables in your school locker....that's an invitation to theft, that should be common sense

this isn't an FML you found it, you don't have to switch schools and you can tell them police used the gps to track the person down... no big deal.

It is an FML if you consider it as the OP being embarrassed for their reaction. Maybe they're thinking "Oh fml, I'm such an idiot, I should have checked more thoroughly, then I would have found my phone, my mom wouldn't have yelled, I wouldn't have cried and I wouldn't be changing schools. ****, I'm a dick."
