Today, my mum yelled at me for wanting to apply to university courses that she doesn't approve of. I'm applying for Biomedical Sciences and Microbiology, she's an unemployed Jehovah's Witness. FML

Peoples beliefs of Jehovah's witnesses always makes me laugh. Please realize that they are normal people who hold normal jobs. As for science and biology, please remember baby Jessica and the baboons heart transplant, this was performed at a Jehovah's witnesses hospital!

To all the people saying that JW's are "annoying as hell" think about all the hard work they put into going door to door. It's only to send a message, not to sell something to you. You simply just have to say "not interested" or politely ask them to not come back again. Simple as that. Is taking 2 minutes of your time really that annoying? Don't be arrogant, we're all humans, not aliens.

It gets annoying when a couple of JW's come to your house to "talk to you about jesus" or "offer you salvation" for the zillionth time. At a certain point we run out of courtesy and all we can come up with is "**** off". That's part of the human nature too :-)

Think of all those 2 min once a week for a year that's over a hour of hearing people try to force there religion on others now add up about a life time and you have wasted days of your life hearing , close minded people, no other religion goes door to door trying to force people to convert to their religion because in there mind your doing something wrong , that is why they are ******* annoying

I do say no thank you... But time and time again they come back... Even after asking dont bother coming back... My neibour got rid of them tho... Answered his door with an open bathrobe... It worked :D

Jehovah's witnesses tend to be abit over dramatic about stuff and not completely understand what they're complaining about. That, and they think only 300 people will be saved when Jesus comes again. I'm pretty sure it's not just those 300 people.

Actually, they believe 144,000 souls will be saved. But unless you were part of their church prior to 1935 you won't be one of them, unless someone from prior to 1935 who was going to be saved does something that proves them as 'unfaithful'. [Needs citation]

Again that's not true. Yes we do 144,000 will go to heaven. We believe that some are anointed right now to go to heaven. But there's a lot more people that will be saved, living how God previously wanted humans to live: on a paradise Earth free of death, pain, sin.
