Today, my mom baked cupcakes for my visiting grandparents. Later, I saw my grandpa chowing down on them. Even later, my mom demanded to know why there were a dozen cupcake wrappers on my bed. I've essentially been framed by my own grandpa, and am now grounded for a month. FML

Today, I briefly left my laptop while I went to use the toilet. When I came back, I found "I" had posted on Facebook, calling my mom a "stupid cunt who should just stay in the kitchen." The only other person home at the time was my grandpa. She didn't believe it, and permanently grounded me. FML

Today, I overheard my grandpa telling my mom he'd found a load of porn in my laptop's browser history, but that he deleted all the "filth" so she wouldn't have to see it. She believed him and I got grounded, much to his amusement. I've never looked up porn on that computer in my life. FML

although this is funny if you life was a ******* sitcom, but its not and i feel bad for you, your grandpa is a dick, and depending on yourrelationship, you can either laugh about this someday day, or just say **** it and DISOWN him, because you dont need anyone like that in your life anyways, and a big pat on the back for your mom too, she thinks youd be stupid enough to just leave the wrappers all over your bed? i agree fyl, and your family!!!!

For me, what makes this so enraging is that not only were there actual consequences for what amounted to a -- prank, but also, your mother does not trust you. Too often, these days, it seems that parents are not protective, or even overprotective; they're just distrustful of their own children.
