Today, my long term boyfriend took me to my favorite restaurant. After the main course he knelt down and finally proposed to me. I was so happy I almost cried. Until an old woman came over and said I was way to old for him. I'm 3 years younger than my fiancé. FML

Today, at a restaurant, I happily watched as my boyfriend of three years got down on his knees and proposed to me. Before I could say yes and hug him, a girl flung herself at him, kissed him and shouted, "Yes!" With us still highly confused, she then ran away. FML

Today, I was out to lunch when someone in the distance proposed to his partner. She said yes, everyone clapped and cheered. I, on the other hand, burst into tears and couldn't stop bawling for about half an hour. I'm a 32 year-old man and didn't even know the happy couple. FML

Don't worry about it. It does stink that you'll never forget what that woman said but you're getting married, try to move past it. My boyfriend is a year and a half younger than me but looks even younger. I probably look every bit of four to five years his senior because I look my age. It doesn't bother us and when he proposes, I dare a woman to say that to me. I'll go to jail for slapping the shit out of her.
