Today, my idiot horse decided to grab a mouthful of stinging nettles while I was riding him. He panicked at the burning sensation in his mouth and bucked me off. Don't worry, though, my fall was cushioned, by the nettles. FML

That's why I always steer clear of extreme sports such as horse riding.

Sounds like a pain in the ass.

Dang!!! I never wana fall off a horse. Not even a pony

It's not usually as bad as this situation, you just have to learn how to land and then always get back on unless something is broken.

I know your pain. When I was little I once fell into six foot high plants of that stuff.

mud. Make mud and rub it on your body... We had stinging nettle at a summer camp I worked at for a summer and the kids always got it... oddly enough, they were also the ones that taught me that trick...

Lmfao. I can't get the image out of my head.

Rub some docking leaves on them. Should get rid of the stinging feeling. If you don't know what they look like, they have quite wide leafs, which are low to the ground, and are found near to nettles or thistles.

Here's an idea, don't ride anywhere near stinging nettles. If you weren't bucked off because the horse ate it, you probably would have been because his legs were stinging

All in favor of FYL say aye....all opposed say neeey

*Neigh Didn't you ever play with that toy that made animals noises when the dial landed on said animal?

Sure, but I don't recall anywhere on that thing that showed the proper spelling for that.

Make a soup? Oh wait. Feel for ya op!

You must understand that, like many things, horse riding comes with many dangers. After all, you are trusting something living with a mind of its own to carry you around. And OP knows that. Sure it is dangerous, but also addictive. And very fun.
