Today, my boss hired a new meat cutter because our old one stopped showing up for work. After he put the smock on, I told him what needed to be done. Without saying a word, he walks over to my boss, hands him his smock and says, "I quit." Guess I'm on my own. FML

Today, after interviewing for a promotion to a position that was created with me in mind, I eagerly accepted a call from my boss, expecting good news. Turns out, they found a better applicant, who they don't believe will need support from the position I currently hold, so it's being eliminated. FML

'Interview Him', Hmmm that's sexist and illegal. Report the tosspot, under the 'Sex Discrimination Act 1975' it is illegal to specify a sex in a job requirement. --> Strike #1 #2 Buy 1 dozen eggs and place in a strategic place in the building ensuring all eggs are cracked about 2 days before departure. #3 - Get another job in your employers time.

I have replaced myself twice in order to receive promotions. My boss went about it the same way, " start interviewing for your replacement." Literally the day I hired my replacement I was offered a substantial pay increase and a promotion. Do it, hope for the best and if he tries to fire you claim sexual harassment and you'll work there forever!
