You deserved it. I have nothing against people who choose to dye their hair blue, but if you're going to be offended/hurt/upset that someone says something like that, you don't have the personality to pull it off.

I keep my hair bright red/orange/copper/pink (and sometimes purple or blue or black streaks thrown in). I have three kids of my own. My youngest wants purple in hers next time I have mine done. People suck, but aren't surprising. I've been hearing the same stereotypes for almost 20 years now.

I've had pretty much ever color of the rainbow in my hair and I had a mohawk for a while. It sucks when people are ignorant and rude about it, but the cutest thing in the world is when little kids like your hair and point it out or ask you about it, and that makes it up for all the stupid rude people.
