Today, I was at work refreshing the shelves when a man turned the corner and said, very surprised, "You look 12!" A few weeks back, two people did the same thing, only they said I looked 9. I'm almost 21 years old, and just very short. Starting to get just a little self conscious here. FML

Don't worry. Once you're older like in the 40s people will still think you're in the 20s/30s. Ppl pay big money to look younger

Almost 22, and I also look 12. Granted, in my case my growth literally stopped at age 12 with no warning.... But at looking perpetually young means people tend to be more leery about taking their frustrations out on you.

I have the same issue. I have 2 children and when I'm out with my mother, people think I'm the sister and my mom's their mom.
