Today, I told my boyfriend I was leaving him because he's cheating on me. He then told me he will die without me. When I said that I didn't care, he said 'OK. I'll kill myself!' and then held his breath in attempt to suffocate himself. I can't believe I dated this idiot. FML

Is it even possible to kill yourself that way? I would think, you would pass out and then start breathing on your own. My niece holds her breath when she doesn't get her way. Yeah, she's 5. Sorry about the cheating part. But glad to hear he's your ex.

I don't know. Not one summited by me. Apparently, it's very common in young children. My sister took her to get counseling. She was warned the next step might be her hurting herself on purpose.

yes u do pass out lol. it's hilarious to watch. most people can't do it till they pass out, they just get dizzy and come back. kinda sad

A lot of kids do that. It's recommended to let them pass out and make sure they don't hit their heads on anything. Usually, after doing it once or twice and not getting a reaction out of it, the kids will stop because it's so uncomfortable and doesn't work.
