Today, I sent a cover letter to a potential employer. In the letter, I talked about my great attention to detail, my strong ability to focus, and my stellar writing skills. After hitting send, I reread the letter and noticed that I typed my name "B-R-A-I-N." My name is Brian. FML

Today, I spent ages writing a draft press release as part of a copywriting job application. I worked really hard and read it through several times before submitting. They emailed me to point out that I'd misspelled the name of the company. Twice. FML

Dudes, am I the only one who thought this wasn't an FML because he made a typo, but because he's afraid the potential employer will read about him saying how smart he is, and think he's just being a snotty douchebag by signing "Brain" at the end?
