Today, I ordered a graduation cake from a woman at the grocery store. She asked me what I wanted the cake to say and I said "Congratulations Annie". Then she asked me who was ordering and I said "Annie". I had to order my own cake. The woman was silent. FML

Aw, you had to order your own graduation cake? That really sucks :( But as long as it tasted good, that's all that matters, right? :P You could've said it was for a friend with the same name to shut her up, though it doesn't really matter what she thinks. Congrats on graduating anyway :)

If you were smarter you would've stated your name, and when she looked at you funny, you should have said, "Yeah, it's for my best friend, who has the same name as I do. And by the way, I may have multiple personalities, but I'm not crazy." That would've really freaked her out.

How is this an FML? I work in the bakery at my store, and we see this all the time. And if you're that upset about ordering your own graduation cake, you are not the first one.
