Today, I came home to my family remodeling our (extremely) out of date bathroom. I was SUPER excited to help them get it done. I walked down the hallway and opened my bedroom door to find a huge, gaping hole in my wall and my room covered in dust. I had to sweep every surface in my room. FML

my sister did the same thing! except she called it a 'secret escape". she had cut a hole through her closet wall and into my broter's closet 'just in case robbers tried to kidnap her, and she needed to get away'

OMG! help him! Go get on Make, and hack-a-day, and all those others and check out plans for secret doors and passages, and make it a project to build carpentry and craft skills! Some kids are mundane, and some are exceptional. Some kids dream about being superheroes, and some actually try to make it happen.
