One time I accidentally ate a lot of ants that were in my cereal without me knowing until I was halfway through the bowl. I have to admit they aren't as horrible as one might think, although its not like I'd eat them again.

the issue must not be the culinary preferences of said roommate, the problem is, he's attracting ants into the apartment, they are hard to rid..conventional ant traps mean a whole dead colony somewhere in the walls or inaccessible cracks..yuck
