Today, I finally got around to cleaning out my mother's things after her passing. In the process I found a fancy box. What did it contain? A collection of crack pipes. FML

Today, my mom found a box full of stuff she had been looking for. She started going through it and found baby pictures of my sister and me, as well as pictures of the cats. She put my baby pictures back in the box and closed the lid. The cat pictures are now hanging in her living room. FML

Today, my mom found a pack of cigarettes in my pocket. She hates smoking, so she tore every single cigarette to pieces, then emptied a bag of kitty litter on them. On my bed. FML

Today, my mother sent off a handmade Christmas wreath I made for my 70-year-old grandmother. It wasn't until after it was sent that we realized the box it was packed in was originally for adult diapers. FML

Today, I was at work when my mother called. She gave me great news that she had finally cleaned out my room and all those "old and useless" books that I had in there. Those "useless" books that she had just trashed were all antiques and worth about $500 each. There were 27 books in there. FML

Look OP, I literally had to go to my dads funeral today. He was the best man ever. If your mom loved you then really who cares. I have to go through my dads things soon but I can't let his imperfections tarnish the fact that he was an amazing father. I'm sorry for your loss OP. Cherish your mothers memory.

@OP So your mom was a crackhead, give her credit she deceived everyone on the down-low including you. But there had to have been that 1 mysterious dude that was her dealer who came out to her wake to pay their respect. Heck you lost a mom but they lost a customer, lol
