Today, I checked my facebook, and my wife of 5 years was listed as single. I then write on her wall that it is ok to announce to be married. She writes back saying that we have to talk and to come to the kitchen. My wife divorced me over facebook. FML

Duh, guys, HE wrote on HER wall that it was okay to say you're married on Facebook so everyone would see that she was married. It was a way of "marking his territory" so to speak. HER using Facebook to tell him to come in the kitchen was just silly though

oh man that really sucks I'm so sorry to hear that But you have no business being with someone like her, honestly she's a total bitch to do that. If she wanted to divorce you, she should have told you in private.. not humiliated you on facebook where EVERYONE can see =(

#1: Not really. I mean, it sucks, but it isn't really facebook's fault that some people choose to use it poorly. OP: Wow, that sucks. And your (ex-)wife is a real bitch. I mean, seriously -- facebook is a reasonable place for people not involved in a situation to find out about it, after the fact. If you want to divorce someone, though, you do it in person FIRST, and you put the info on facebook LATER.

57--actually i think he was writing on her wall even though she was in the other room just to be funny, thinking that she accidentally didn't check off married, but SHES the one with the messed up communication problems
