Today, I arrived at my college dorm. To help me sleep, I listened to my local radio from my phone. Little did I know, they turn off the wifi for part of the night, and hours of music were streamed onto my phone. Guess who now owes the phone company all my money. FML

You can call them and explain the situation, they might let it slide. But if not you can set up dates so you can make payments.

Try to explain the situation. Usually phone companies can make compromises.

maybe call the phone company and tell them the situation. if they still charge you tell them you're going to switch to a different company. they usually don't like to hear that and it works most of the time. good luck

if you don't know how to turn off mobile internet while you're using wifi, ydi in a way. everyone should make sure they don't make this mistake because it costs crazy money.

Put your phone on airplane mode with the wifi enabled next time. It will only use the wifi, if it's available.
