Today, during my dinner break, I was forced to listen to a coworker talk about how he dumped his needy ex for another woman. I'm the ex. We kept our relationship secret from our coworkers. I guess now I know why he dumped me. FML

I know work place dating can end in big problems but it doesn't always. I have happily been with my husband for 6 years. He was my coworker when we met and we are still coworkers.

Thank you. While I don't normally condone workplace relationships due to the awkwardness if it doesn't work out, my husband and I started dating while working at the same place. Seven years later, we are happily married with our first baby on the way. We also still work together.
