Today, an old guy phoned the cops on my daughter because she was drawing with chalk on the sidewalk. Apparently, he thinks it's vandalism. FML

I think it would depend on where she did it/ if she had permission. In the city where my uncle lives, property owners own right to the road. they even have to shovel snow on the sidewalk infront of their houses. I mean calling the cops is extreme, but maybe she was drawing on his property.

Before anyone thinks I had a chalk-less childhood too, nope, I did infact get to play with it, but it was always on my own driveway. Not only because it was my family's property, but also because it was very dangerous to play on the sidewalk/ road infront of my house
