Today, after an argument with my pianist girlfriend about how bad my favourite song would sound on the piano, she stormed out of the room crying, leaving behind a CD. It was the piano version of the song she'd made for me. FML

You'd be surprised what sounds good on piano, OP. Hell, I've even heard piano versions of Whip My Hair by Willow Smith that sound good!

It is so easy to fix. All you have to do is listen to the CD and then tell her something like "Wow! I thought it would sound horrible but you make it sound more beautiful than the original. I am so lucky to have such a beautiful and talented girlfriend." Might sound a bit kiss-assy but I'm sure it would work.
