Today, while driving home, I saw a cop with a speed gun "hidden" by the side of the road. I went to slow down so the fuck-knob wouldn't be able to ticket me. I then had a brain-fart and floored the gas instead of hitting the brakes. Hello speeding ticket. FML

I'm going to assume that you were already speeding and that's why you needed to slow down. Therefore you deserve the ticket and shouldn't be calling an officer names for doing his job.

Why is it necessary to call the officer names when you were the one in the wrong and he or she was just doing their job?

Trial by written declaration. They usually don't go for it because they don't get paid, unlike when they go to court for trial (at least in California).

You deserve it more than anyone on here has for quite some time. I absolutely DETEST speeding! I always love it when speeders get served their well-deserved ticket, it gives me such joy.

I went to a memorial service for someone who was killed because she was leading a large truck in the parking lot and the driver made that mistake. So if a ticket makes you pay closer attention in the future, that's probably better.
