Obviously I don’t know the full story from this short FML, but catching an STI doesn’t necessarily mean your partner is cheating. People can be asymptomatic for a long time. They could have had this before they started seeing you.

you do mean Ex-girlfriend right? Cheating seems like a pretty clear sign they don't respect the relationship or you. plenty of better way to do things.

That's exactly what happened to me. Me and my now husband got diagnosed with a STD 6 months after we started dating because he didn't know he had one.
