Hogs gone wild

Today, I got pulled over by a cop. Since my window wasn't working, I opened the door, causing him to run towards me with a drawn gun. He then had a go at me with his night stick. After realizing my window was broken, he laughed and let me off with a warning. FML

Where I'm from, you would have been tasered, shot, body cavity searched, beaten, shot, fined for the broken window, laughed at, shot, and arrested for resisting arrest.

see the problem with gun control Is that bad people don't really obey the rules so then u have a whole bunch of armed criminals running around and decent people have no way to defend themselves

True, NYC's crime rate has dropped, but it also helps that they had some mayors there who have gotten shit straight as well

seriously, where is the fml here? you probably pulled some stupid shit in the first place to get pulled over, then even more stupid you, decides to open the door.. I'd have done the same and pulled a gun on your dumbass. then you don't even get a ticket? sounds like you have it pretty good so I fail to see how this qualifies as an fml.

if you dont know guns are a HUGE sport in the south were almost 90% of people have one from the small town I live in, and their is no way in hell guns will be taken away from the people here.

that's stupid were I'm from in the US (south) I like in a small country town and prob 90% of the people here have guns. and guns offer a HUGE sport to most everyone around here and it's also our protectection. theirs no way in hell they'd take our guns from us. that's just stupid.

well, at least he let you off with a warning... although if he hit you with the stick that still sucks FYL word of advice, in this situation you should probably not open the window until asked to, and if it's broken then tell him that and then the cop tells you to open the door

I love and respect the 2nd amendment too. Also your completely right they have a right to do that, that was stupid for opening the door..

I own both in a gun safe and were I live their are accidents. but also accidents with baseball football basketball and soccer. but does that mean we should get rid of the sports? no and I love shooting more that most like playing baseball football.. ect

assuming that cops in Canada have dashboard cameras like the cops on the U.S I suggest you go to the police station, request the video, and then proceed to file charges

Thanks to the 2nd Amendment I was able to stop a man from breaking into my house and possibly harming me or my family. Chances are I will never fire my firearms at somebody in my entire lifetime but criminals do think twice once they know you're armed.
