Grammar rules, OK!

Today, my new boss lost his shit and flew into a ten minute rant against me about the "value of respect". He told me that if I wanted to stay in "his" company, I'd best start toeing the line. All this because I corrected his misuse of "your" and "you're" in one of his memos. FML

He's a ******* douchebag who should know respect is earned, not given.

It makes me sad to see how horrible the average intelligence of the human race is. Not to say that individuals are not smart, but as a whole our race is pretty damn dumb. Like Pratchett says, “The intelligence of the creature known as a crowd, is the square root of the number of people in it.”

How about rather than being a grammar Nazi you just shut the **** up and ignore the mistakes?

For the record, it's impolite to correct people's grammar if they have a higher status or you aren't on a very familiar basis with them. Unless it's your job. In general, if you care so much about random peoples' grammar become an editor.

There is nothing wrong with using correct grammar.
