Today, I got a knock on my door at 3 a.m. Turns out, if I ignore my mother long enough, she will assume I have died and will call the cops. FML

I'm torn here. YDI for ignoring your mother, she cares for you and wanted to know you were safe. But that is a bit drastic for her to do. Still, it's your fault.

This really depends on how long OP was ignoring his mom...i mean if it was like a week or something that he just ignored her calls, then way overreaction on the mom's part. But if it was like a REALLY long time that he never talked to her, then it's a YDI....I mean, just talk to her from time to time and she won't worry! But I don't have enough information to actually make a decision here lol

FYL. yea, she cares. but there is a point where someone can care too much, and she definatly crossed that line... if someone doesnt pick up the phone.. stop calling.. because they are either busy or dont want to talk to you..
