Today, I finally got the nerve to tell my parents that I'm no longer going to pay them a flat percent of my salary, but only what they need to cover my expenses. Their response: "Better find a place of your own then, you freeloading bastard." FML

Today, I got mad at my parents and threatened to run away. Things got so bad that I packed a bag and left, planning to hide in my front yard to teach them a lesson. It's been two hours, and I'm still standing behind a bush in front of my house while they make no effort to look for me. FML

I just imagined the OP's parents writing checks and getting money orders they give each other. The mother's child support is due on the 1st, the father's is due on the 15th😂

Running away never solves anything. Especially if you're in the movie Prometheus, and you decide to run in a straight line from the big wheel thing that's following you, instead of running to either side.
