Today, a customer at the restaurant where I work reduced me to tears by screaming at me, as I nearly knocked out his 2-year-old with the kitchen door, after he let the little boy play on the floor behind it. Apparently, it's my fault I can't see through solid wood. FML

I see nothing wrong with a human door stop. However, it should be the dad because he clearly has no mental activity.

I can't see his brain, either.

You could have used the quotation marks around the word always. Not the the whole sentence.

Sarcasm doesn't translate to the written word very well.

when the fml deals with the OP having a conflict with the customer, there is always that one person who posts "the customer is always right". oh and FYL OP.

Poor boy had to learn the hard way cuz his dad can't be bothered to teach his son. Is the little boy okay?

We don't really care for legal action in tbe UK. It usually doesn't solve anything. Just costs a lot of money.

Oh honey that's awful! You did nothing wrong and you know that, I'm so sorry he yelled at you. It's his own fault for letting his son play there and he should be ashamed of his actions. I hope everything goes better, I'm sorry.

My thoughts exactly. I'm sorry he made you cry OP, you didn't do anything wrong, please don't be too hard on yourself. After all, it's not your fault he's inept. What's next, he lets his son play in the road, and yells at the driver when he gets hit by a car?

yeah always put the blame on others when in fact they are at fault -.-

He's either a total tool, or is blaming you to try to push away his own guilt feelings - for being a total tool and idiot parent.

Sounds terrible for all parties. Poor kid, poor you and the dad probably freaked out and spoke out without thinking. Hopefully the kids was ok.
