Today, my best friend set me up on a blind date with someone he said was very hot. I'm not exactly what you call fit, so I haven't been dating lately. As soon as I got to the restaurant, I spotted the girl. She looked me up and down, said, "You have GOT to be kidding me" and left. FML

While her comment was both rude and unnecessary, it is incredibly hypocritical to criticise HER for being shallow - YOU'RE the one who went on a date with her because she was 'very hot'. Why is it ok for you to be shallow and focused on looks, but not for her? A ridiculous double standard. It is reasonable for someone who takes care of themself to want an attractive partner...
