Today, my twin sister gave birth and somehow now weighs less than before she was pregnant. She also has huge boobs now and not a stretch mark in sight. Meanwhile, I’m still carrying an extra 15 pounds, even though I gave birth 5 years ago, and so many stretch marks I look like a fat zebra. FML
Today, I told my mom I was thinking of having a baby. She told me it was a huge mistake because children cost a fortune, make you miserable, and if she'd had her chance again she would have gotten her tubes tied when she was 18 and saved herself the grief. Gee, thanks mom. FML
Today, after weeks of every excuse not to, my wife wanted sex. It was amazing, and she had at least 3 orgasms. Instead of cuddling afterwards, she got up like someone kicked her and started bitching about all the things she could have been doing, as she got dressed and stormed out. FML

Today, I'm a teacher at a primary school, with 20 schools in their network. A week before end of term assessments, they decided to move assessments a week early to allow them to observe data. I have 2 days to teach 2 chapters or my kids will lose 20% of the paper. FML

Today, I couldn't bring up a close friend from college in a conversation without my mom bashing her for over ten minutes. She does this with practically all my close female friends. I suspect she subconsciously doesn't want any girl to steal her son away. FML
Today, here in Canada, my father-in-law talked to me about how people who are "not Canadians" are destroying the country. He called me an "import" several times within the course of an hour. I've been a citizen for over twenty years. FML
Today, I caught my two-year-old son dragging his baby sister, by the hair, with a smile on his face. My husband still believes there’s a possibility our son isn’t a psychopath because, and I quote, “He’s only two.” FML
Today, for the second week in a row, I woke up to the sound of my awful upstairs neighbors having sex between the hours of 1 and 3 AM. Their bed is so noisy, and earplugs barely help. At this point, based on the rhythm of their bed squeaking, I can tell when they're about to finish, and I hate it. FML
Today, we live in a world where 10 people on a bus will ignore a man slapping his wife so hard, she falls out of her seat, yet when that same man has a coughing fit, the same 10 people all get mad at him for not wearing a mask. FML
Aujourd'hui, ma copine essaye m'expliquer quelque chose. Je ne comprends pas, puis mon père intervient pour expliquer à ma copine qu'il faut se faire à l'idée que je ne comprends pas grand chose. VDM
Aujourd'hui, en rentrant chez moi, je vois de l'eau à ma porte. Je rentre et toute la salle de bain est inondée. La cause ? Le pommeau de douche est tombé des ventouses, à allumé le robinet et a arrosé toute la journée, partout. La fuite va jusqu'au sous-sol de ma résidence. Ça va coûter cher. VDM
Aujourd’hui, je propose à mon chéri de lui faire une gâterie pour le motiver à me faire l’amour. Sa réponse fut un non catégorique, il est trop fatigué et notre relation hebdomadaire est le samedi seulement. VDM
Aujourd'hui, j'étais tranquillement en train de regarder la télé dans mon lit. Mon chat arrive. Je tends la main pour le caresser sans regarder. Ma main s'est posée sur une petite boule poilue remuante : le chat m'avait ramené une souris dans le lit. VDM
