Today, formal portraits of my entire class were posted online, with about five photos per person. As my mom was looking at them, she was commenting about how pretty all my classmates look. When she got to my photos, all she had to say was, "Ugh". FML
What is with mom's telling their kids they're ugly nowadays? What happened to the days when ugly people could always expect to hear they're not ugly from their mom?
what's up with moms nowadays? Everytime there's a mom involved in an fml she's always being a bitch and making fun of her kids...my mom brags on the way I look and then brags that I get it from her...even when I was an annoying little fat kid she insisted that I was quite handsome. Your mom appears to be a bitch, sir

my daughter is 6 and a very pretty girl: light brown hair, green eyes, tall. But I did not like her school pictures because she had a mean if looks could kill expression on her face. I was disappointed she didn't smile. So yes, parents can not like how their child's pics turned out. Especially if they paid alot of money for example senior pics, only to see their kid has a booger hanging out their nose or eyes half closed.
Parents always do that because they want their kids to be the best and they will always notice the tiniest of flaws, like a hair out of place or that one eye is slightly squinty. Just because they are aimed at perfection when it comes to you. I'm sure your pictures looked just fine.
Well I guess it depends. She could just be a total bitch or maybe you really didn't look your best. Like you weren't smiling or the clothes you wearing weren't right.
no way! There are SO many delusional parents who think their little brats are the BEST THING EVAR and THE CUTEST RITE RITE and trying to avoid saying yes is like a death sentance

or the kid could just be ugly. I get it all the time. Even my family calls me emo. It's only natural.
