Today, while working as a swim instructor, I started singing the hokey pokey to get all the kids used to putting their faces in the water. One of the kids was covering his ears. When I asked him why, he said "because you were singing." He's 3. FML

Sing louder until he goes under

That's a sign.

Well you tried and in the end...that's what it's all about.

What difference does his age make? Small kids can still have a sense of pitch...

What's your name Justin Bieber?

Some kids just don't like the sound of people singing. At all. My nephew hates anyone singing, be it the Beatles or Bieber (although you can't blame him with Bieber). However, he does like orchestral music. It's just the way some kids are, don't feel too bad about yourself. I'm sure your rendition of the Hokey Pokey was fine - it was written for children, and has a simplistic range, anyone can sing it :)

sing until the kid dips into the pool.know ur talent n utilize it for the betterment.

Oh please, he's 3. He thinks Spongebob and how big a poop he took are the greatest things in the world.

Don't take it personally, he's three.
