Today, while waiting for a bus, someone started smoking at the bus shelter, which is illegal in my city. I politely asked him to stop smoking, citing the city ordinance. He just cackled and said that if I'm so concerned about the state of my health, I should start by losing 90 pounds. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was yelled at for smoking at a bus stop, because a woman didn't appreciate me smoking by her children. She did this while waving her own lit cigarette in my face. FML
Today, while I was on the bus to work, a morbidly obese man sat down next to me. When my stop came and I stood up to get off, he just looked at me, said with a smirk, "good luck with that," and went back to reading his paper. I missed my stop. FML
Nutter on the bus
Today, some guy at the bus stop screamed at me because the bus was coming and I wasn’t wearing my mask. I was standing 25 feet from the stop finishing a smoke and there was no one around me. When I sat down on the bus, with my mask on, he stared me down the whole ride. FML
It's not what you think
Today, I walked past a few of my coworkers sitting outside smoking. As I got a whiff of the smoke, I coughed. They immediately started to defend their habit, and I was told to "mind my own fucking business." I wasn't trying to be rude; I'm actually allergic to cigarette smoke. FML
Today, I was walking past a homeless guy while smoking; he asked if he could have a cigarette. So I gave him one and said without thinking, "Sorry, it’s a menthol, but beggars can't be choosers." FML
Get back here
Today, a man in a hurry asked me for a light. Not being able to find my lighter amongst the muddle inside my handbag, I handed him my lit cigarette so he could light his. He took it from me, started smoking it and walked off. FML
Do as I say, not as I do
Today, I was having a cigarette in a smoking area when a mother with a pram strode towards me and exaggerated a cough to make some sort of point. Reluctantly, I put it out and walked off. I then turned around to see her lighting up a cigarette, and blowing smoke all over her baby. FML
Today, I was walking down the street when I had a coughing fit. The next thing I know I'm being pushed about by a group of guys who were smoking, because they thought I was coughing deliberately to send them a message about smoking being bad. FML
Today, a homeless guy tried to light my hair on fire with a match at the bus stop. FML
Today, a stranger had a go at me for smoking while pregnant. I'm a guy. FML

While heart disease does kill more people than lung cancer, that guy was a prick.

It has not, nor will it ever, be proven conclusively to be harmful or cause anything. And I don't need the government telling me what I can or can't do with my own body simply because some jerkoff doesn't like my smoking. If you don't like it, go somewhere else, but don't be a retarded douche and say they should take away someone else's rights simply because you don't like it. This country has enough problems with the government putting its foot where it's not welcome.

If you don't think it's been conclusively proven that inhaling smoke from ANYTHING is unhealthy, you're in denial. However, I agree with you that it shouldn't be outlawed, not because I doubt the health hazards, but because I don't want to have to deal with a bunch of smoking outlaws.

You continue with this. You STAND UP for what you believe is right. You stand up for what IS RIGHT. You ask that person nicely to stop smoking and you do that all you want, for it is the LAW. People like him do not have the right to smoke there, and worse so, they insult you about your build. That surely is a criminal offence just the latter part alone. Smoking is something that affects you, so why should you suffer. Being a bit large never does him any harm. Ignore all the people saying YDI, bcecause you don't.
