Today, we had a school reunion. The guy who bullied me throughout my high school career is now rich and married. I'm broke and single, and he specifically came up to me to point it out. FML

They've done studies that prove people who are bullies are naturally more dominant and thus more likely to succeed in life. All those high school movies lied to us!

Sometimes Karma doesn't do its job :(

Just wait. Next comes when he gets arrested for leading a big scandal in his firm and his wife takes all his money and leaves him for you.

You never know what goes on behind closed doors, OP. He could be miserable for all you know. And judging by his shitty personality, he's not rich in what counts. Money does not. Traits like compassion, understanding, and generosity do.

Once a bully always a bully

He might be lying maybe he's not either of them?

He might be rich and successful, but you're a better person than he is. And no amount of success can ever take that away from you.

Sounds like a sociopath

He is still a douche though. Sounds like his money and marriage haven't helped him to mature much either.

Survival of the fittest

@41 That's not how survival of the fittest works. Survival of the fittest is part of natural selection and the evolution process. If this were survival of the fittest, Op would be talking about their child who died of a horrible genetic disease.

Yup, the ones with the big mouth always get what they want, I guess.

That's why I'm never going to a high school reunion unless I'm successful.

Me personally, I would never go to a school reunion. I don't care how rich or poor I turn out after high school, I don't ever plan to go to one after I graduate.
