Actually, 38, all sperm is is a random half of the males DNA, it has no heartbeat, no conscious, no intelligence of any kind, doesnt carry out life functions, and has no nucleus, so therefore, scientifically a sperm is not a living being

NoorFML, only male ************ is wrong. Females can rub it raw cause there's no sperm to kill. You must, however, never have a period, so you have to conceive a child every chance you get.

Jesus guys, yes he said a very unpleasant thing, but he was most likely very upset about the news. Who can honestly say that they have NEVER lashed out at a loved one accidentally when upset?? I'm sure they will talk it over/he will apologise and they will move on with their lives.

Fertility issues can stress a marriage more then money issues and cause really stupid fights. After the shock and disappointment fade a bit, communication is key. There are a lot of options out there, including shared risk invitro. Basically, since it is so expensive, some places will reimburse some of the expenses if it isn't successful. Some insurance companies will even help cover it. And there is plenty to try before even getting to that point. It sucks that op's husband lashed out and while it wasn't right, it could be because he is embarrassed or feeling broken.
