I think I'm on the YDI side. You didn't deserve to bleed and hurt, but please, people, it's not fun or cute to steal food off someone's plate. Of course in certain relationships it's okay but if that's the case, I guess she wouldn't have stabbed your hand. The wife probably hates that and decided to do something about it, and while she may have wanted to give a warning, she just went at it too hard and there you go, bleeding.
