Today, a colleague texted me to say that I needed a haircut. Today was also the first day I attempted to ‘do’ my hair in about 5 years. Clearly, I shouldn’t have bothered. FML

Today, I went to the hairdresser on a spur of the moment decision to get a quick wash and cut. Forty-five painful minutes and $180 later, I honestly don't know if anything was actually done to my hair. FML

Today, I came to the decision that I needed some variety in my life, so I decided to get a haircut. My mom insisted that she could do it and that she had experience because she cuts my dad's short hair. I had thick, long hair. Now, my hair is uneven, ugly and short. FML

are you sure she didn't just say "try new things to boost your confidence, like getting a new hair style"? is that what she said OP? are you just trying to get attention OP? you're obviously not paying her enough.

Holy shit OP my first therapist told me the same thing. He told me to cut my bangs into straight, blunt bangs instead of the side-swept style I had. He didn't even let me talk during the entire session. ...Now I wish I had submitted that as an FML :( anyway, FYL.
