Today, I went to the hairdresser and changed my hairstyle drastically. It wasn't until she was nearly done that she said, "I just KNEW this style wasn't going to suit you." FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I went to my hair dresser to get my haircut. When she asked me what I wanted, I told her "the usual". She confused me with another customer and gave me a mullet. FML
Today, I let my friend cut my hair and after a few minutes, she looked at what she had done and then she ran out of the room, laughing. FML
Today, I got my hair cut. When I was leaving, my stylist was standing fairly close while we were talking. She reached out to smooth out my hair; I went in for a hug. She didn't want a hug. Everyone who was there just stared at me until I left the building. FML
Today, I got a haircut. I wanted three inches cut off. When the lady finished, she had cut off everything but three inches of my hair. FML
Today, I decided to get a haircut to change up my look. I asked for a bob, but the hairstylist misunderstood and gave me some sort of bowl cut. I look like a '90s sitcom character. FML
Today, I went to my hairdresser who promised me a haircut which "all the girls would want you" for. She gave me a combover. FML
Today, I decided to go get my hair cut because it was getting a bit long. I told the lady that I wanted it way short and she replied "Why? You will look like a guy sweetie." I am a guy. FML
Today, I went to get a haircut. I have a pretty bad case of dandruff, so whenever I get one, a lot of it shows. My hairstylist called to her nearby friend twice, then looked at my hair and said, "Blech" under her breath. I got glares when I walked out. FML
Today, my therapist told me that I need to do something different with my hair. Then I paid her. FML
Today, my girlfriend dumped me because I was "changing too much." My big change was a haircut. FML

Ehh, it's always good to maybe ask for an opinion if you're doing a big change! The hairdresser should have maybe brought up an in-between look for you, and maybe changed even further if you were still happy with how it was proceeding. It's on both of you, but she's a jerk for saying it like that to you. They're suppose to suggest secretly and keep to themselves if you won't change your mind! Sorry OP.

The question here is did you ask for a specific style or did you all for advice first and she still gave you one that she thought wouldn't fit you? I'm either case, telling you your new hairstyle doesn't suit you after finishing is just unprofessional.

Even if the hairstyle doesn’t suit you that not your hairstylists decision to make( unless your getting something stupid like a Mohawk).

doesnt matter what you asked for or what she thought. her job is to please you not her self. basic customer service. if you like it then flaunt it girl!
