Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my bag, including phone, money, keys and cards, was stolen. In a church. During my wedding. FML
Today, I went to evening Mass. I later found that sometime between entering the church and receiving Communion, someone had snatched my iPhone straight out of my handbag. FML
Today, while on vacation with my family, my mother told me to put my phone in her purse, so it wouldn't get stolen. Someone stole her purse. FML
Today, I was entertaining people during an extra curricular school function in order to help "brighten people's spirits in their time of need." After it was all over, I found out that my phone had been stolen. FML
Today, I was volunteering at a soup kitchen and was advised to leave my wallet and cell phone in my car so they wouldn’t be stolen. Someone broke into my car and stole them. FML
Whodunnit
Today, my cellphone was stolen. I work in a morgue. By myself. Obviously it wasn't stolen by any of those people. FML
Great timing

My precious

Reminds me of the “I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness" quote:(

Serves you right for being in that 'God' forsaken place... Go out into the world and do good without the fear of retribution or punishment... And maybe you'd keep your phone too :)

A pastor said to me once as he told a story about a stolen purse the lady said "Who would steal from a church?" he replied "Who wouldn't?"

A good friend of mine and his wife were debating whether they should start attending Sunday mass. His wife cited that attending church regularly would make them 'better' people, as well as allow them to associate with other 'good people'. He responded by saying that "just because I spend a lot of time in the garage, that doesn't make me a car". Never have I laughed so hard in my life.
