Today, the phone kept ringing so I picked it up and answered. When there was no response, it took a minute to realize that I was still in bed and talking to my hand. FML

Today, I forgot what I was doing while listening to a voicemail and started talking back to it. FML
Today, while on vacation, I called my home phone to check the messages. Someone answered. FML
Today, I was woken up at 2 in the morning by my phone ringing. As I groggily reached for it I managed to knock my fan onto my head, leaving a grate-shaped bruise. The best part? My phone wasn't ringing, I dreamed myself awake. FML
Today, my phone rang during a meeting. I quickly silenced it, and put it in my pocket. A few minutes later, my boss’s phone rang. It was me, butt-dialing him while we were sitting in the same room. He answered and asked if I had something urgent to discuss. I did not. FML
Today, I was daydreaming in bed when my phone rang from across the room. I scrambled out of my covers, tripped over a pair of boots I had by the bed, and slipped on some jeans laying on the floor. Luckily, I answered my phone in time, but only to have my mom tell me to clean my room before she got home. FML
Today, I crawled into bed at 2 in the morning. At 6 am, the telephone rang, waking me up. It was a wrong number. FML
Today, the phone rang so I went to answer it. No one was there. A minute later the phone rang again and no one answered so I assumed it was a telemarketer or a prank so I started swearing uncontrollably in rage. Turns out it was my crush calling to ask me out, but she was too nervous to ask. FML
Today, my mom is in the hospital and I'm sitting by the phone in case anyone calls with news. Each time the phone rings, I bolt upright to answer it. So far I've been woken up by two telemarketers, three robo-calls, and some old lady asking for Doris, who doesn't live here. I can't turn my phone off. FML
Today, I received a prank phone call that woke me up. I actually kept them on the line because they were the first person to call me in weeks. FML
Today, I was woken up from a phone call from my boss. He asked if I had been asleep. I told him I wasn't, that I was in my car on the way to work. Then my alarm went off. FML

I've done that. I've had a full conversation with whomever my brain said was on the other end and when I went to hang up I couldn't because I was talking to my hand.. Ambien is a hell of a drug.

I did that when I got my wisdom teeth taken out and was on Vicodin, that shit ****** up my cognitive ability quite a bit

I'm on oxycodone recovering from surgery right now and I've had a couple minor hallucinations (they didn't continue, so that's why I continued taking these pain pills). Strange what drugs can do to you.

I do this too. I also "check my Facebook" when I'm half asleep and it turns out to be my hand. I sleep talk and sleep walk as well so it's mostly that combined with whatever is around me (my phone in this case)
