Today, I was video chatting my boyfriend. As we were talking, he answered a phone call. I sat there the whole time as he planned a date with some other girl over the phone. FML
Today, my long-distance boyfriend was at my house for a 10-day visit. He told me that we'd never spent so much time together, so he didn't know me well and now, he'd finally met the "real me". He doesn't like it. FML
Today, my long-distance boyfriend got extremely drunk and insisted that we left the Skype call on all night so it was like I was there with him. I woke up to the sound of him vomiting loudly at 3am. FML
Today, my boyfriend took me on a romantic weekend away at a hotel. What is he doing now? On his computer looking up stuff on Craigslist while I am watching t.v. alone. FML
Today, it's been a week since I flew down to stay with my long-distance boyfriend. We went on long walks on the shore, under the stars, and had an unforgettable picnic viewing the sunset. I just now received a message of screenshots displaying him attempting to hook up with another girl. FML
Today, I wanted to spend some time with my girl, but she was more interested in her phone and 90 Day Fiancé. Bored, I went to play video games. Ten minutes later, she came looking for me and yelled that I clearly prefer video games to her. FML
Today, I saw that my ex-boyfriend was online and had no plans. I felt extreme happiness knowing he had no life. Then I realized that I was online and had no plans. FML
Today, all I wanted was to spend some time with my husband, since we're always very busy. He couldn't be bothered to put down his video game. Guess I'm forever alone, even in a relationship. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I broke up. He said it was because he wanted to 'do his own thing'. So gaming 24/7 like he has for the past two years of our relationship, then. FML
Today, I was on Skype with the guy I like. After a while of being on Facebook I forgot I was on webcam to him and started picking my nose. He ended the call. FML

Did you communicate that that wasn't what you had in mind? If not, YDI for not understanding this well-known difference between guys and girls. The fact that he thanked you shows the time you'd just spent "together" online was very meaningful for him—and exactly what he was looking for. Trust me, most guys can do something in the general proximity of someone else and then walk away feeling it as having been a bonding time. Go talk about it with him.

Well I had a long relationship for 3 years. Now we live in the same city because I wanted to move there and everything is wonderful. It is hard to handle, it takes pacience and the aim to do anything to stop living far away, but it is worth it. (I'm 20 and so he is)

How long have you been in this LDR? Depending on the timeframe - I'd say suck it up. I know my boyfriend and I got to the point after roughly two, three months that we both could be online 'together' and doing our own thing - and were totally content with that because we don't need to fill every waking online moment with jabber to each other.

Sigh. It's a long distance relationship, not an online relationship. Learn the difference. In any case, I don't think it's such a big deal. Me and my boyfriend spend hours in Skype webcaming, and we're often doing our own stuff and only talking when we have something to say. Just knowing he's there and being able to see each other is nice. If you want him to pay more attention to you, start a conversation, or ask him to share those funny sites with you.

I do that to my boyfriend. I will be chatting with him while also chatting with the other guys I'm having sex with. It used to bother me but I have developed ways to do it and justify it to myself. I am a piece of shit and I know it. So does every guy I have been with. They find out eventually and hate me.
