Today, my fiancée thought that lowering the volume on her phone would lower the amount of data being used by her streaming songs. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I finished a 2 hour Skype call with my girlfriend, only to realize I was using mobile data. FML
Today, I arrived at my college dorm. To help me sleep, I listened to my local radio from my phone. Little did I know, they turn off the wifi for part of the night, and hours of music were streamed onto my phone. Guess who now owes the phone company all my money. FML
Today, was trying to have an adult conversation with my fiancée but she's always on her phone, so I sent her a text message instead. Relationship goals. FML
Today, my girlfriend thought it'd be funny to change my ringtone to some guy crooning "Thank heaven for little girls" and then call me during today's teacher-parent conference. FML
Today, I bought my girlfriend an iPhone. I preloaded it with a bunch of cool apps and stuff and spent a lot and money. She used it to send a text to me 3 hours later saying that she thought we should break up. FML
Today, my girlfriend berated me for my "lack of communication skills", all while deeply engrossed with something on her phone. FML
Time to bail
Today, my girlfriend likes playing games on her phone more than she likes me. FML
Alexa, play "Noise Annoys" by Buzzcocks
Today, I found out my mother only uses two settings for volume on her laptop: maximum volume or completely quiet. She'll play it over whatever other people are doing, and then get mad when they tell her to turn it down. FML
Tay-Tay rules
Today, I realised my girlfriend likes to play Taylor Swift whenever she wants me to leave her alone. FML
Today, my girlfriend thought it would be funny to go to the Apple store and log me on to Facebook on every single computer. FML

I just picture her shouting "I can't HEAR youuuuu" when you are trying to tell her what the bill is.

She should wear headphones as well

Definitely, the more people who hear her music, the more data she'll use.

She should totally download some FREE data! I started downloading it a year ago and I've paid NOTHING for my data since! Message me for more details about this AMAZING opportunity!!1!

#39 where's the link? You're suppose to have a link when you offer free data. I don't know how to download my data absolutely free of charge!
zach205 24
You can download free data at Www.thisisascam.com For verification please provide name, address, email, credit card information, social security number, and common passwords

Makes sense, I'd rather have music that I can't hear for a longer time than actually use the data that I do have for something useful

It may save battery, But it has nothing to do with data.

She must be new to technology

*blinks* Does she apply the same logic with the TV and use of electricity?
Adam Chudomel 6
well actually if you lower the volume, the TV will use less electricity.. but the change in price is unmeasureable

That doesn't work? Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that does that.

Far too many people don't understand technology, but don't want to be made fun of for it. So instead of asking someone who would know (or googling it themselves), they apply logic to their limited knowledge. Which can lead to someone wondering why "light" sour cream weighs the same as the regular.
aruden 25
To early for so much logic.

Also, I think that sometimes they do ask, but they're asking a jerk who gives them false info just for the laughs. It sounds to me like someone told her this and she believed it. I can't see her just coming up with that logic all on her own. But I can definitely see some guy laughing like crazy at the thought of her going around "saving data."
