Today, my family and I were on a road trip. Everything was fine until we discovered that my dad, the driver, was not only fast asleep, he was also snoring. We were in the middle of the highway. FML

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, my uncle was driving my mom and me to his house. We caught him nodding off numerous times, and I'm pretty sure he actually fell asleep at least once. We were on the highway. The car suddenly started swerving several times whenever he was getting sleepy. I think I have some grey hairs now. FML
Today, I fell asleep in a taxi. So did the taxi driver. FML
Today, after a long work shift, I was so tired that I took a nap in my car to avoid driving half-asleep. When I awoke, there was a huge truck in front of me. I thought I'd fallen asleep while driving and was about to die. I only realized it was stationary after I pissed myself. FML
Today, I was on a plane flying home and fell asleep. I woke up to my own snoring and everyone on the plane looking at me. FML
Today, I was watching a movie with my boyfriend and his parents, who I haven't known very long. I ended up falling asleep. That doesn't sound so bad, until I woke my drooling self up by snoring extremely loud. FML
Today, I discovered I have narcolepsy. During a driving test. FML
Today, I was really, REALLY tired at work. I went to the restroom to take a little break, and must have dozed off, because I was awoken by my boss, knocking on the door of the stall. Apparently, I had been snoring. FML
Today, I was in a bus headed to another city and fell asleep as did everyone else. I must've woken up last, because I half-snorted as I woke up and everybody heard. Now we’re on a coffee break and I can see them all snicker about it outside. FML
Today, I fell asleep on the bus after a long day. I woke up to the driver nudging me, saying, "End of the line, mate." I had no idea where I was, and it was raining. FML
Today, I farted myself awake, in a car full of my boyfriend's family. FML

Try switching drivers next time if the current is sleepy. Sometimes you can doze off and not even realize it, so scary and dangerous!!

that's nothing. My stepmom was driving through the mountains at 3 am and she was so tired, she kept going in the middle of the road so I had to take over

on road trips, turn up the AC. it'll keep ya awake. my mom always did that when we drove to Florida. ..In December...so it was pretty bad lol

It’s a myth. Lots of road accidents happen because people think that a few cups of coffee, or the loud music, or the A/C is going to keep them awake. It doesn't. If you are really tired, nothing will keep you up, especially when you are driving on a straight line.
