Today, my boyfriend wanted to take me to a movie after days of not seeing me. This long-awaited date involved me paying for food and my movie ticket when he ran out of cash again. He then dumped me as we left the theater walking to his car. Yes, I financed my own breakup date. FML

Tonight on First Dates
Today, I went on a date that went well, until the bill came and she quickly shoved it in my direction, then went to the loo. Rude, but I thought nothing of it… until our waiter took pity and told me I’m the fourth guy she’s had this week who'd been made to pay for her. I paid half, then went home. FML

Wow I never split bills just because its annoying, I either pay it all or my date does, and I don't mind paying. But if someone ever tried to demand money for picking me up I wouldnt even entertain going on a date with them again, thats beyond cheap and rude. I would never demand money even from a friend if i OFFERED to take the somewhere to do something. It isn't even an equality issue, he was just rude in general, if he was friend of yours and demanded money it would have still been rude.
