Today, I took in an old friend’s fat cat for a month until she finds a place to live. Turns out the cat isn’t fat, just pregnant. I found out when I found two of her dead kittens in my living room. FML

Today, our cat is in heat. Her male counterpart is sitting outside my bedroom door, serenading her loudly, and has sprayed his piss all over the house, making sure she cannot escape him broadcasting his availability. FML

Happened to my uncle too! You'd be surprised how many female cats make a full recovery from this. My sister in year one of vet school even knows this. You gotta take it all out or take a gamble.
