Today, my car keys are in my house and my house keys are in my car, and I'm in neither. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I locked my keys in my car. I had a spare key in my wallet, that I also left in the car. FML
Mass effect
Today, my auto-repairman told me my heavy mass of keys was bad for the ignition switch and suggested I separate my house and car keys. I began to carry my car keys and lock the house keys in my glovebox. My car was stolen. I now have car keys but no car and a house with no house key. FML
Today, I locked myself out of my car. While walking home to retrieve the spare, I realized I locked my house keys inside the house this morning. Now I must decide whether to break into my house or car. FML
Today, I locked my keys in my truck. The good news is that I have a spare set in my house. The bad news is that my house key is on the same keyring as my locked-in truck key. FML
Today, I went through my purse to see where my keys were. I found my house keys, but not my car keys, so I freaked out. When I remembered that I was driving, I felt stupid. FML
Today, I locked my keys in my car. My spare keys are 45 minutes away in my dorm room. My dorm room keys are attached to my car keys locked in my car. Security said they would let me in as long as I had my school ID. It's on my keychain. FML
Today, I dropped my keys in the sewer. The spare ones are inside my locked car. FML
Today, after locking myself out of my house, I let myself into my car to wait on someone with a spare key. It took me 15 minutes to realise the house and car key share the same ring. FML
Today, I couldn't get to work because I couldn't find my car keys. It turns out, my mother took them and put them "somewhere safe." She can't remember where they are. FML
Today, I locked my keys in my car. Good thing I went to Lowe's to make spares, which are also now locked in the car. FML

I guess all you can do is try to get in whichever one that will cause the least amount of damage to break into:/

Roadside assistance to the rescue! Did you check for an open window?

Maybe your dad has them -- did you just play a "friendly prank" on him?

The most important thing. You have your phone. Can you connect to your wifi from outside?

This is why I'm glad my car won't let me do that.

You live alone? Does anyone have keys to help you into the house? If no, call the locksmith and receive help. I know people forget things but this is a first for me to hear this.
