Today, knowing that I have severe arachnophobia, my brother brought over his friend's tarantula. One hour later, the spider got loose. It's been 5 hours and I'm afraid to go to sleep. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I spotted a huge spider in my bedroom. I freaked out at first, but I managed to confront my arachnophobia and killed it with a book. I was ecstatic and went to tell my boyfriend. By the time I returned to my room, the "dead" spider had vanished. Now I'm too scared to sleep. FML
Today, my girlfriend bought me a pet tarantula. I now have one of my biggest fears crawling around my house. FML
Today, my sister told me she found my escaped tarantula and put it in a box on my bed. I never had a tarantula, and the box was empty when I checked. FML
Today, my roommate thought it would be a good idea to show me his huge new tarantula despite knowing that I have extremely severe arachnophobia. I ended up killing it with a book and apparently now owe him $500. FML
Today, I found a big spider on my wall. I have arachnophobia, and I was trying to kill it with my shoe. I pulled back and hit myself in the face, causing me to fall backwards. The spider is still alive somewhere in my house. FML
Today, I was taking off my underwear to change into fresh clothes. Pulling them down, I realize there's a big fat spider in them. Not only did I have a spider chilling with my genitals the whole day, but I'm deathly afraid of them. FML
Surrounded
Today, my significant other woke at 4:30 a.m. to me crying about a spider in the bathroom. I have an intense fear of spiders; he was super nice and took care of it for me. He even walked me out to my car. I started to calm down driving to work, but when I got there what do I see on the door handle but a spider. I'm still shaking. FML
Today, a spider crawled across my arm. After a quick dance in a fit of panic, I managed to scramble onto my bed. I thought I would stand up to see if I could spot the spider and maybe kill it. I was then promptly knocked unconscious by my ceiling fan. FML
Today, a tarantula joined my stuffed animal collection in its drawer. It, unfortunately, wasn't stuffed. FML
Creepy
Today, I rolled up a newspaper and smashed a huge spider in my room. As I went to scoop it up with a tissue, it lurched away and fell near my bed. I can't find it, but I can sure as fuck sense the pure evil coming from it. Looks like I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight. FML

What the hell is with people knowingly exposing arachnophobes to huge ******* hairy ass spiders. You’re just asking to get your pet killed. I know I would, no regrets.

Just relax and go to sleep. The spider will crawl on your face and your brother will be able to find it. Be a good team player!

But then he would have to throw his entire face out.

Same here. If you knowingly bring a bug/spider near me knowing I'm terrified of them I'm killing it. And I'm making sure it's fully dead too.

I love tarantulas, rodents, snakes, and many other animals people normally are afraid of. I wouldn't ever bring a mouse around someone deathly afraid of rodents. Doing something like that could seriously send a person into a heart attack!

Sorry OP, the only acceptable solution is to burn your house down
KittyMack 13
Somehow it got loose almost immediately eh? That vicious little bastard obviously brought it over specifically to let it loose to destroy OP's mind. If I'm right, A: a horrible revenge must be planned, & B: perhaps it was never even out, he just said it was. Because why risk the animal's safety when the impact to OP would be identical either way.

You should come to Australia, we don’t have pet tarantulas here...

Just wild, crazy-big ones.

Well OP time for a well thought out revenge like a bed full a centipedes or take a crap in his shoes whatever you decide make it one he'll never forget 🤔😏😈

Those saying the would kill it are braver than me. I'm so scared. Of spiders I can't get close enough to kill it and will cry until someone else does. It's awful

Burn your house down. It’s the only way to be sure.
