Today, my girlfriend decided to let me know that she almost left me for another guy not so long ago, because he was more handsome and talented than me. The reason she didn't leave, "He's out of my league; you're not." FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I'm bisexual. He dumped me because apparently now there is "too much competition". FML
Today, my girlfriend broke up with me, because I was apparently "too good" for her. FML
Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, my boyfriend of 2 years is leaving me for someone he met once at graduation 2 days ago. Apparently it was a magical "love at first sight" experience. FML
Today, I saw my long-distance boyfriend for the first time in 8 months. He dumped me on the spot because I was "uglier" than he remembered. FML
Today, my boyfriend of 3 months decided to end our long-distance relationship out of the blue, because he "lost interest" and "our families don't approve" and "you deserve better than me" and "I'm holding you back." He took my heart and shattered against the wall. FML
Today, my boyfriend dumped me because he, "just can't keep dating a girl with so many split ends." FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me for a girl he met through me. I shouldn't feel bad. Apparently, she's exactly like me, only much prettier. FML

Normally Snickers, I'd agree with you, but to a lot of guys, having a more attractive girlfriend puts A LOT of stress on the male. Why would you insantly say "just get married" ? Maybe the bloke didn't want to get married.

just because guys are trying to flirt with her doesn't mean that she's flirting back. my exboyfriend of 2years would do me the same way and because I knew I wasn't doing anything I would try to reason with him but he always ended up breaking up with me again. so fyl OP I feel for you.

I see only two possibilities here: (1) He is lying, and just needed something to say to break up with you. Sorry to say it, but I think this is probably what happened. Guys don't break up with girls they care about because they are "too beautiful." If this is the case, then you have my sympathy. (2) He is serious, but the problem is less that you are "too beautiful" and more that you don't do anything to stop guys from flirting with you. It's easy to stop guys from flirting with you, so if they kept doing it often enough to actually bother your (ex) boyfriend this much, then you weren't even trying to put an end to it. If this is what happened then you deserved it.

I was going to contribute something like #2 of eternalaphrodite. Having an attractive wife/girlfriend who gets noticed by other men is one thing, but when they let the flirting drag on and on, it gets to be quite obnoxious. Also, if you women think a man you are flirting with is going to be significantly deterred by some tiny piece of jewelry, you are sadly mistaken. If he thinks he's got a chance with you, he's going for it.

I had the same prob, my girl is beautiful 2, we split a yr ago, not because of that, but we wer 2getha 4 18 yrs, & hav 2 daughters, 14 & 10, it's hard, but it's like the song, wen ur in love with a beautiful woman, it's so true even gotta watch ur friends, but she was neva unfaithful & neither was i.
