Today, my boyfriend and I were cuddling in bed. After looking at me for a while he said, "you look better when I'm not wearing my contacts". FML

Today, while cuddling with my boyfriend, he got up and said he needed to go home because he was tired and just wanted to relax and watch TV. That's what we were doing. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I were lying in bed together, and I was in a snuggly mood. I rolled over to gaze lovingly into his eyes and whisper sweet nothings to him in the darkness. His response? "Dear God! Did somebody fart in your mouth?!" FML
Today, after asking my boyfriend multiple times to be more kind and romantic, he looked at me lovingly and said, "You know, you look pretty sometimes." FML
Today, I woke up to my boyfriend making the bed, at 2 AM. And he wasn't so much making the bed as he was holding a pillow while lost in thought, looking at me. FML

you know he didn't say that you looked ugly in the light, he just said you look /better/ in the dark. I mean, i could say that "I scored better on this test than my last one" When i got a 99 on this test and a 98 on the last one. I agree with #21, it's very unlikely that he meant it in a negative way. If he did, he most likely would have sought someone else other than you. And besides, he may have been hoping to get a little action by saying that, hinting that other things could be done by saying it. Unless, of course, you two are a couple who do the duty during the daytime?
